7th Pay Commission: There will be a huge increase in the salary of central employees in July, know how much will increase

Under the 7th Pay Commission, the central employees are going to get great news in the month of July. There will be a huge increase in the salary of the employees this month.

New Delhi: The central government can make a big announcement in the month of July for more than 50 lakh central employees. In the month of July, the government is going to release Dearness Allowance (DA) for employees and Dearness Relief (DR) for retired employees.

Employees have been waiting for dearness allowance for a long time. His wait may end in the month of July.

It is worth noting that since January last year, dearness allowance of central employees has not been released. Till now three installments of this allowance are pending. Due to the Corona epidemic, the dearness allowance was not released even in July, 2020 and the allowance to be released in January, 2021 is still on hold.

Now all three arrears of dearness allowance can be released in the month of July. Till now central employees are getting dearness allowance at the rate of 17 percent, which will increase to 28 percent.

Know how much salary will increase

Right now the question in the minds of many employees is that after the release of dearness allowance, how much will their salary increase.

For this, we have to keep in mind the pay-matrix of 7th Pay Commission. In the month of July, the dearness allowance of central employees will increase from 17 percent to 28 percent. That is, now employees will get 11 percent more dearness allowance every month. Similarly, there will be an increase in inflation relief (DR).

How to calculate salary increase

For example, under the 7th Pay Commission, if the monthly basic salary of an employee is Rs 30,000. So in the month of July, due to increase in dearness allowance from 17 percent to 28 percent, there will be an increase of 11 percent in the salary.

In this sense, 11 percent of Rs 30,000 is Rs 3,300. That is, from the month of July, Rs 3,300 dearness allowance will be added to that employee salary.

Similarly, you can calculate the increase in dearness allowance on the basis of your basic salary.
