What recommendations did the Punjab government accept?

- The restoration of Commutation of Pension has been considered from 1st July 2021. It has been kept at 40%.
- The Death-cum-Retirement Gratuity (DCRG) has also been increased from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh.
- The amount of Ex-Gratia Grant has also been increased to double.
- Employees of New Pension Scheme will also come in this.

- The minimum pension of pensioners has now increased from Rs 3500 to Rs 9000.
- Minimum Family Pension has also been increased to Rs 9000 per month.
- There is also talk of giving family pension to divorced / widowed daughter in the new pay scale.

Salary more than the employees of Haryana
