The film was scheduled to release today i.e. on January 7, but the makers postponed the release of the film Corona’s Chakkar. Now before the release of the film, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Ram Charan, Jr NTR starrer film seems to be stuck in legal trouble. It is reported that a PIL has been filed against the film RRR in the Telangana High Court, demanding a stay on the release of the film.
Student made these allegations
A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed in the Telangana High Court against the film RRR. According to reports, a student named Alluri Soumya from Andhra Pradesh has filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) against the film, stating that historical facts have been distorted in it. The student has demanded a ban on the film. Also said in the petition that therefore censor certificate should not be issued against the film.
Waiting for hearing
The case was heard by the bench of Judge Ujjwal Bayan. After this, he has said that it is a PIL and it will be heard by the Chief Justice’s bench. Now the next hearing in this matter is awaited.
No statement from RRR Makers on the matter
However, no statement has come out from RRR Makers in this matter so far. Ram Charan Alluri is playing the role of Sitarama Raju in the film. At the same time, Jr NTR is in the role of Komaram Bheem in the film.
