What is step by step process
To update your address on Aadhar card online, first you need to visit the official website of UIDAI https://uidai.gov.in/. There you will see a tab of My Aadhaar. On clicking on the tab of My Aadhaar, you will see the option of Update Your Aadhaar in the second row. Now you have to go to the update option and click on the third option your address online there.
A new page will open in this process, on that page you will have to select the option of Proceed to Update Address. After that a new page will open in front of you. After this, you have to do captcha verification by entering your Aadhaar number on that page. After this you have to click on Send OTP, after which an OTP message will come on your Aadhaar registered mobile number. After entering that OTP, you have to select the option of Data Update Request. After this process, you can update your new address by selecting the address option.
To update your new address, first you have to enter the complete details of your existing address and after that you have to upload the color scanned photo of the address proof. After this process your current address will be updated.
