Justice Shakdhar said how can the courts get involved in all this? These are policy decisions, how can the courts ask them to do this? At first I am not able to understand that this is an area about which we do not have the complete picture or data, what are the aspects that can come to the fore… The best thing is that this government decides. Should this be done or not?

The High Court said that the government will take a decision on this within three months. The High Court was hearing the petition of lawyer Ashwini Kumar Upadhyay. The petitioner said the State should take appropriate steps to curb corruption and confiscate “benami” properties acquired through illegal means so as to send a strong message that the government is committed to keeping corruption and black money from growing. committed to.

If the government links assets with Aadhaar, it will increase annual growth by two percent. The petition said it will clean up the electoral process, which is rife with black money and benami transactions and thrives on the cycle of huge black investments… the use of political power to amass private wealth, it All is done with contempt for the citizens.

It also increases the price of essential commodities as well as key assets like real estate and gold. The petition further said, these problems can be curbed to a great extent by linking movable and immovable properties with the Aadhaar number of the owner. Earlier, the High Court had given time to the ministries of Finance, Law, Housing and Urban Affairs and Rural Development to file their responses on the petition.
