Air Passengers Attention! 30 flights from this international airport late, 17 cancelled, check updates

Delhi Airport: Fog and cold continue in North India including Delhi. In Delhi, at 5:30 am today, the temperature was recorded at 4.8°C in Safdarjung and 7.2°C in Palam. Even today, due to low visibility due to fog, 30 flights from Delhi International Airport are delayed while 17 are cancelled. Cancellations may increase due to the new SoP issued by DGCA.

30 flights delayed Airport officials said around 30 flights departing from Delhi airport were delayed and 17 were canceled due to weather conditions. The minimum temperature was recorded at 5 degrees Celsius. Many passengers were seen waiting at the airport with their luggage. A passenger said, “My flight was scheduled to depart at 8:40 am, but now it is scheduled to depart at 10:30 am. The airport authority has cited the main reason for this as weather and fog. Check flight timings first. Delhi Airport issued an advisory in this regard saying, “Many flights are delayed due to low visibility at Delhi Airport. All flight operations are currently normal. Passengers are requested to contact the concerned airline for information. Meanwhile, 30 trains were also delayed due to low visibility due to fog. The Indian Meteorological Department said that 500 meters visibility has been recorded at Palam and Safdarjung airports. The weather department wrote in ‘ Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar, Patiala, Ambala, Chandigarh, Palam, Safdarjung (New Delhi), Bareilly, Lucknow, Bahraich, Varanasi, Prayagraj and Tezpur recorded ‘zero’ visibility for the first time this winter season. The purpose of shelters is to provide shelter to homeless people who live on the streets and have nowhere else to go in the cold. Shelters provide blankets, bedding, hot water and food to those seeking shelter.
