Air Service Closed: The hope of resuming Spice Jet flights from Gorakhpur has further diminished. On Thursday it was revealed that the airline has closed its office in Gorakhpur and has also shifted its luggage.
There is talk that Spice Jet will now be replaced by Akasa Air. There were four flights daily from Gorakhpur to Delhi, two to Mumbai and one each to Kolkata, Hyderabad and Lucknow. In this, one aircraft of the aviation company Spice Jet used to fly to Mumbai and the other to Delhi.
