First air taxi service will start in Dubai
Joby Aviation startup is going to launch the world’s first air taxi. The company will soon start the world’s first flying taxi service in Dubai. The startup had announced its partnership with Gulf Emirates earlier this year. This taxi will start operating in Dubai by 2025. A big car company like Toyota is also investing $394 million in Joby Aviation. In this series, IntGlobe Aviation and Archer Aviation are jointly starting air taxi service in India. Air taxi service is likely to start from Connaught Palace in Delhi to Gurugram by the year 2026.
Service will also start in Mumbai, Bengaluru
The journey between New Delhi’s Connaught Place-Gurugram can be completed in just 7 minutes by air taxi. Five people including the pilot will be able to travel in this air taxi. There are plans to start air taxis in Mumbai and Bengaluru also.
Range of taxi will be 150 km
The name of InterGlobe Enterprises’ air taxi will be Midnight. The company said that our target is that the 27 kilometer journey from Delhi’s Connaught Place to Gurugram currently takes 60 to 90 minutes. Our aim is to reduce this time to 7 minutes with this air taxi. Apart from the pilot, four passengers can sit in the air taxi. Its range on a single charge is approximately 150 km. According to Archer Aviation, the fare for a seven-minute flight from Connaught Place to Gurugram can be around Rs 2 to 3 thousand.
