ALERT ! WhatsApp is suddenly putting a ban on users, know what could be the reason

If your WhatsApp number has been used for suspicious activities, you can be permanently banned by the messaging app.

Some users have reported being banned unexpectedly on WhatsApp. Users had reported that they were logged out of their account when they tried to access the app. Obviously, the ban can be imposed only if the user has violated the terms of the app, but in most cases, it has never happened. However, users can leave a mail to the company if they feel that they are unfairly banned by the company.

These days, on WhatsApp, users can face temporary or permanent ban depending on the situation. A big reason for this is that you can lose access to your WhatsApp account if you are using an unauthorized version of the app. This is called the “WhatsApp Mod” and using a modded version violates the company’s terms and conditions. To avoid such situations, users should download the correct version of the app from Google Play Store and Apple App Store. There should be no download from the third-party App Store.

WhatsApp bans hacking victim account

On Reddit, a user told that he was suddenly banned on WhatsApp and despite writing tons of messages to the company, he did not get access again. He revealed that one of his WhatsApp contacts had been hacked. This may be due to a latest hack that allows cyber callers to suspend any user’s account using your phone number. Researchers had found that the attackers first download WhatsApp on their phones and try to log in using Suspect’s mobile number.

When this is being done, the two-factor authentication system of WhatsApp immediately sends a code to the phone number of the suspect. It bans the attacker to gain access to the account, but he keeps repeating this process. Due to several unsuccessful login attempts, WhatsApp deactivates the login for 12 hours. This prevents both Suspect and Attacker from logging into their WhatsApp account for 12 hours.

Account will be banned even if you send more messages than the limit

WhatsApp often bans those accounts that send bulk or automatic messages. According to a report by Wabetainfo, WhatsApp bans over 25 lakh accounts every month due to bulk and automatic messages. If your number has been used for suspicious activities, you can be permanently banned by the messaging app. The report states, “WhatsApp bans those accounts that use its service over.”

For example, if an account sends a lot of messages within a certain time, but WhatsApp has introduced a limit which is sufficient for almost all users. If an account has reached the limit, it means that it is not a human being, but an automatic system, such an account is banned.
