Prabhas starrer film Baahubali: The Beginning has completed 10 years today. On this occasion, director SS Rajamouli surprised the fans by announcing the return of Amarendra Baahubali on screen. Along with this, he announced the release date of the film and also told that this film will be in two parts.
Baahubali: The Beginning film was released on 10 July 2015. This film created a stir all over the world including India. Apart from pan-India star Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Rana Daggubati, Ramya Krishnan, Naseeruddin and Sathyaraj had main roles in this film. SS Rajamouli told on his ex handle that Baahubali The Epic will be released on 21 October 2025. The ‘Baahubali’ series is a duology of films. It shows the story of a man named Sivudu, played by Prabhas, who uncovers the mysteries of life’s past and takes his rightful place on the throne.

Bahubali the Epic will be a 5.25 hour film, in which a combination of Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali: The Conclusion (2017) will be seen. In this, Sivudu’s story will once again be in front of the audience. In this part, Sivudu comes face to face with the truth of his past and makes his place on the throne. Along with this, there will also be a question related to Baahubali and Kattappa, ‘Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali’. This film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.

This film also won two National Awards. These include Best Feature Film and Best Special Effects. It is still the sixth highest grossing Telugu film and its Hindi dubbed version is the highest grossing dubbed film till date. According to SaccNilc, Bahubali earned Rs 650 crore worldwide, while Bahubali 2 collected Rs 1788.06 crore. The Bahubali series is the third highest grossing Indian film. It is preceded by Dangal and Pushpa 2: The Rule.
