Gujarat Milk Cooperative Marketing Limited (GCMMF) ie Amul MD Dr RS Sodhi told TV9 Bharatvarsh in a special conversation that the price of Amul milk in the country has increased by Rs 2 per liter.
According to the information received, Amul Co-operative Society has decided to increase the prices of milk due to rising cost. The company has increased all its brands by Rs 2 per liter. With today’s increase, now the price of Amul Gold has gone up to Rs 58 per liter. Apart from this, the price of Amul Shakti, Amul Taza, Amul Tea Special, Amul Slim and Trim milk has also been increased by Rs 2 per liter.
Will other companies also increase the price?
Amul is the largest milk production company in the country. Now after this decision of Amul, other companies including Mother Dairy can also increase the price of milk. Actually, the cost of milk production has increased for the companies.
With the increase in the price of milk, the price of other dairy products will also increase. Now with milk becoming expensive, the price of ghee, paneer, butter, cheese, lassi, ice cream and buttermilk apart from tea, coffee, sweets and chocolates will also increase.
