A new identity of Ayodhya is being established as a major pilgrimage site and tourist destination. Meanwhile, the fare for flights to Ayodhya has become more than that of many international routes.
Airfare became so expensive
According to a report by Financial Express, tourists have started flocking to the city before the inauguration of Ram Temple on January 22. This is affecting air fares. According to the report, currently on checking the ticket from Mumbai to Ayodhya for January 19, the fare for Indigo’s one flight is showing Rs 20,700. Similarly, the fare for the flight of January 20 also seems to be around Rs 20 thousand.
Same day international flights
This is more than the fares on many international routes. For example, on checking the flight from Mumbai to Singapore for January 19 only, the fare for a direct flight of Air India is shown as Rs 10,987. Similarly, the fare for the direct flight from Mumbai to Bangkok on January 19 is seen at Rs 13,800.
