How can you get an Ayushman card from home?
- The government has now simplified the process of getting an Ayushman card. You no longer need to travel anywhere or fill out any forms.
- To get an Ayushman card from home, you must first visit the scheme’s official website, mera.pmjay.gov.in, or the PMJAY/Ayushman app.
- After this, first check your eligibility here.
- If you are eligible, you must log in to the app or website.
- After logging in, enter your Aadhaar number and the OTP received on your mobile phone.
- Now, click your photo with your mobile camera and submit it.
- After this, the Ayushman card will be ready and available for download within seconds.
You can also get your card made from a CSC center
If you’re not comfortable with the online process, you can also get your Ayushman card made at your nearest Common Service Center. The staff there will check your eligibility, verify your documents, and if everything is in order, your card will be generated.
Who can get the Ayushman Card?
- Under this scheme, people working in the unorganized sector are considered eligible for the Ayushman Card.
- People over the age of 70 are also eligible.
- The poor and economically weaker sections are also eligible.
- Those who do not receive ESIC benefits can also apply.
- People who do not pay PF can also benefit from this scheme.
