Bank Customers Alert! Banks will remain closed in these 15 cities today, check list before leaving home

Bank Holidays: August 30 i.e. today banks will be closed in many cities. Banks will remain closed in Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and other states. Banks will remain closed in 15 cities across India today on the occasion of Janmashtami (Shravan Vad-8) or Krishna Jayanti.

New Delhi: If you have any work related to the bank today, then you must check about the holidays before that. Due to Krishna Janmashtami (Janmashtami 2021), there will be no work in banks closed today in many cities of the country. The list of bank holidays is issued every month by RBI. RBI issues bank holiday list for different zones in different states due to local festivals there.

Let us tell you that RBI had released a list of Bank Holidays for the month of August 2021. There were a total of 15 holidays in this month, but at present there are only two holidays left in this month. Let us tell you on which days banks will be closed.

There will be no work in the bank due to Janmashtami,
let us tell you that on August 30, i.e. today, banks will be closed in many cities. Banks will remain closed in Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and other states. The list of 15 cities in which banks will remain closed includes Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Gangtok, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Lucknow, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla and Srinagar.

There will be no business in this city
on August 31, apart from this, if we talk about August 31, then this day will be celebrated in Sri Krishna Ashtami (Telangana and Andhra Pradesh), so banks will not work here on August 31. According to the RBI holiday list, banks will remain closed only in Telangana’s capital Hyderabad on the occasion of Krishna Ashtami.
