Bank Holidays on November 5: The entire country will celebrate Guru Nanak Jayanti on Wednesday, November 5th. Banks will be closed for five days starting tomorrow. According to the RBI list, banks will be closed continuously from November 5th to November 9th. However, all holidays will not be the same in all states. Banks Closed Today on November 5th

On November 5th (Wednesday), Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Prakash Parv and Kartik Purnima will be celebrated across the country. Due to this, banks will be closed in many states, including Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, and Jammu and Kashmir. However, banks will remain open in Gujarat, Kerala, Bihar, Goa, Karnataka, and several states in the Northeast. Regular banking operations will be conducted there.

Banks will be closed on November 6th

Banks will be closed in Bihar and Meghalaya on November 6th. Meghalaya will celebrate the Nongkrem Dance Festival on this day, while the general assembly elections in Bihar will also impact banking services. Banks will remain open in all other states except Bihar and Meghalaya.

Banks will be closed on November 7th

Banks in Meghalaya will be closed on November 7th due to the Wangala Festival. Bank branches will remain open in all states except Meghalaya.

November 8th is the second Saturday

Bank branches in Karnataka will be closed on November 8th for Kanakadasa Jayanti. Banks will also be closed in all states across the country due to the second Saturday.

November 9th is Sunday

Banks will be closed in all states on November 9th due to Sunday.

However, customers will not face any problems using digital means during these days. ATM, net banking, mobile banking, and UPI services will remain available as usual. Therefore, if you need to visit a branch for any important banking work, please check the holiday list beforehand.
