Bank Holidays: Navratri begins today. ​​On this occasion, the Rajasthan government has declared a public holiday on September 22, 2025, for the first day of Navratri. Therefore, all banks, government offices, schools, colleges, and other institutions in Rajasthan will remain closed today, Monday. ​​Banking operations will continue as usual in other states.

The first day of Navratri is a significant religious festival, marked by the worship of Goddess Durga and the installation of the sacred pot (Kalash). Considering its religious importance, the state government has declared a holiday. ​​People are advised to complete any necessary bank transactions beforehand to avoid any inconvenience due to the holiday.

September 3 (Wednesday): Karma Puja in Ranchi.

September 4 (Thursday): Onam in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram.

September 5 (Friday): Eid-e-Milad/Thiruvonam in several cities including Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Delhi, and Hyderabad.

September 6 (Saturday): Eid-e-Milad/Indra Jatra in Gangtok, Jammu, Raipur, and Srinagar.

September 12 (Friday): Friday following Eid-e-Milad in Jammu and Srinagar.

September 22 (Monday): Navratri celebrations begin in Jaipur.

September 23 (Tuesday): Maharaja Hari Singh Jayanti in Jammu and Srinagar.

September 29 (Monday): Maha Saptami/Durga Puja in Agartala, Gangtok, and Kolkata.

September 30 (Tuesday): Maha Ashtami/Durga Ashtami in several cities including Agartala, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Kolkata, Patna, and Ranchi.
