11 April (Thursday) – Ramzan-Eid (Eid-ul-Fitr) (1st Shawwal): Banks are closed in most of the states of the country. Many states like Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir are included in this count.

April 16 (Tuesday) – Shri Ram Navami (Chaite Dasain): Banks are closed in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Chandigarh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh.

20 April (3rd Saturday) – Garia Puja: Banks are closed in Tripura.
