Which day will be holiday

On the 18th of this week, the banks of Guwahati Zone will remain closed on the occasion of Kati Bihu festival. After this, on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad or Barawafat on 19th, Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bhopal, Chennai, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu, Kanpur, Kochi, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Srinagar, Business in the banks of Thiruvananthapuram zone will remain closed.

On October 20 this week, banks in Agartala, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Kolkata and Shimla zones will remain closed on the occasion of Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti, Lakshmi Puja and Eid-e-Milad. On the 22nd of this week, banks in Jammu and Srinagar will remain closed on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-ul-Nabi.

This day will also be a holiday

Apart from this, banks across the country will remain closed on Sunday as well and 23rd of this week is falling on the second Monday of the month. Due to which there will be no work in the banks on that day also.

These works will affect

There is a problem in the work like updating KYC in banks when there is a holiday from work. Apart from this, there is also a delay in the process of check clearance.
