Unlike other months, there are no major festivals in June. Despite this, banks will remain closed for 9 days in June. Most of these holidays are weekly. According to the Reserve Bank of India, banks in Bhubaneswar (Orissa) and Aizwal (Mizoram) will remain closed on June 15 on account of Mithun Sankranti/Raj festival. Apart from this, banks will be open in different parts of the country.

6 June – Weekly Holiday – Sunday

12 June – Weekly Holiday – Saturday

13 June – Weekly Holiday – Sunday

June 15 – There will be a holiday of Mithun Sankranti/Raj festival in Aizwal (Mizoram) and Bhubaneshwar (Orissa). But apart from this, banks will remain open in different parts of the country.


June 20 – Weekly Holiday – Sunday

June 25 – Guru Gobind Singh’s birth anniversary (Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar.

26 June – Weekly Holiday – Saturday

27 June – Weekly Holiday – Sunday

June 30 – Remana Ni will have a holiday in Mizoram. But elsewhere, work will continue as usual.
