Bank Holidays: Banks will be closed for three days from today, you will not be able to work, see list

If you are thinking of going to the bank for important work then stop. Actually, banks will be closed for three days from today due to festivals and public holidays. Although there will be work in banks for half a day on Saturday, but after this, due to fall on Sunday, banks will be discharged again. So if you have to do money transaction or any other work, then you will have to resort to internet banking.

According to the holiday list released by RBI, on May 14, Eid-ul-Fitr has a holiday. On 14 May, it is Parshuram Jayanti. Therefore, there will be a holiday in most of the states of the country. Also on 16 May it is Sunday. This day is a public holiday in every bank. Therefore, these three days will not be able to work in the bank.

Holidays in may

According to the RBI Holiday Calendar, banks will remain closed on 22 May as the fourth Saturday is on this day. Therefore banks of any state will not open on this day. Sunday will be a public holiday on 23 May. Buddha Purnima is on 26 May, so banks will remain closed on this day in some other places including Agartala, Belapur, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla, Srinagar. Apart from this, Sunday is on 30 May, due to which there will be a public holiday.

According to the holidays issued by the Reserve Bank of India, National Holiday, including weekly holidays, this time in the month of May, there is a total of 12 days holiday, some of which have passed and some are left.
