Bank Holiday: Banks across the country were closed on Saturday, October 11th, as it was the second Saturday of the month. Today is a Sunday holiday. Banks are typically closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month, as well as on Sundays. According to RBI bank holiday rules, banks across India are closed on these days. Banks are scheduled to reopen tomorrow, Monday, but there are several other days closed in between. If you’re planning to visit a bank, it’s important to know the bank’s closing times beforehand so you don’t waste your time later when you arrive at the branch only to find out it’s closed today.
