HDFC Bank FD Rates: The country’s largest private sector bank has changed the interest rates of fixed deposits. New rates have come into effect. The bank is offering 7.40% interest on 1-year FDs to general citizens. The maximum interest rate for senior citizens is 7.90%.
The bank has increased the interest rate of bulk deposits. In this, customers can invest from Rs 3 crore to less than Rs 5 crore. The bank is giving 0.50% extra interest to senior citizens on both regular and bulk FDs.
How much return is being received on FD?
According to the official website of HDFC Bank, the bank is offering interest ranging from 4.75% to 7.40% on bulk deposits to general citizens. Senior citizens are getting interest ranging from 5.25 percent to 7.90%. Ordinary citizens are getting interest ranging from 3% to 7.25% on regular deposits i.e. deposits less than Rs 3 crore. The bank is offering different tenures from 7 days to 10 years.

- 7 to 14 days- 4.75%
- 15 to 29 days- 4.75%
- 30 to 45 days- 5.50%
- 46 to 60 days- 5.75%
- 61 to 90 days- 6%
- More than 90 days and upto 6 months- 6.50%
- 6 months 1 day to 9 months- 6.85%
- 9 months 1 day to less than 1 year- 6.75%
- 1 year to less than 15 months- 7.40%
- 15 months to less than 18 months- 7.05%
- 8 months to less than 21 months- 7.25%
- 21 months to 2 years- 7.05%
- 2 years 1 day to 3 years- 7%
- 3 years 1 day to 5 years- 7%
- 5 years 1 day to 10 years- 7%
