Bank Service shut down: The State Bank of India (SBI) has issued a major alert for its millions of customers. If you conduct daily financial transactions through the YONO app, UPI, internet banking, or any other digital medium, these services will be unavailable for an hour on the night of October 11th. The bank has shared this information in advance to avoid inconvenience to customers and ensure all important online transactions are completed on time.

SBI has clarified that this is not a technical glitch, but rather that services will be temporarily suspended during this period for routine system maintenance and upgrades by the bank. This maintenance will begin at 1:10 am on October 11th and will continue until 2:10 am. During this time, key digital services like SBI’s UPI, YONO mobile app, internet banking, NEFT, RTGS, and IMPS will be completely shut down. Customers can use their nearest ATM or access other bank accounts if they wish.

During this special period, the UPI Lite service will remain operational and can be used for small transactions. The bank has advised all customers to complete their bill payments, money transfers, or other important online transactions before 1 a.m. on October 11th to avoid any inconvenience during the maintenance period. Customers can also keep cash on hand for emergencies.

Recently, many SBI customers complained about issues with their UPI service, prompting the bank to recommend UPI Lite as a quick solution. This maintenance is being performed to improve the bank’s services and simplify the customer experience.

Ignoring this alert could prove costly, so SBI customers should complete their transactions in a timely manner. The bank’s primary objective is to make its digital services even faster and more secure in the future.
