October 11: On Dussehra (Mahastami/Mahanavami), banks will remain closed in several cities including Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Gangtok and Ranchi.

October 12: It is the second Saturday of the month and banks will also remain closed for Dussehra (Mahanavami/Vijayadashami) in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Lucknow.

October 13: Banks will remain closed across the country on Sunday.

October 14: Banks will remain closed in Gangtok on the occasion of Durga Puja (Dasin).

October 16: There will be no banking operations in Agartala and Kolkata on account of Lakshmi Puja.

October 17: Banks will remain closed in Bengaluru, Guwahati and Shimla on account of Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti and Kati Bihu.

October 20: Banks will remain closed across the country on account of Sunday.

October 26: The second Saturday coincides with the merger day, due to which banks will remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar.
October 27: Banks will remain closed due to Sunday.

October 31: Diwali (Deepawali) will be celebrated in major cities like Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata and New Delhi. Along with this, Kali Puja and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary will also be celebrated, which will affect banking operations across the country.
