Banks facility: Banks are coming home on a call to make money, so take advantage of this facility

All 12 banks of the public sector country are offering doorstep banking facility, under which if you need money, then you have to call. The bank agent will come home and deliver the money.

Keeping in mind the social distancing in the Corona era, banks started many services which have now become the normal service of banks. There is one door step banking. Under Door Step Banking, the bank comes to your home and makes cash delivery. Apart from this, many other types of service are also being benefited. To take advantage of this service, the customer has to call a number. Apart from this, this service can also be availed through mobile application.




Door Step Banking was started under the Ease of Banking Reform of the Government of India. This service is being provided by all 12 banks in the public sector. These 12 PSBs are- State Bank of India, Punjaban National Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, UCO Bank and Union Bank. Under the banking reform, this service has been started by PSB Alliance.


Service available in 100 major cities

Services of DSB (Door Step Banking) are available in 100 big cities of the country right now. All public sector banks are providing this facility. There are currently four types of facilities available under DSB. First non-financial banking service, cash withdrawal, cash deposit and digital life certificate facility. According to the information available on PSBDSB website, cash deposit service is not yet operational. However withdrawal service is on.




How to withdraw cash?

Withdrawal can be done at home if you have an account with 12 public sector banks. For this, toll free number 18001037188 or 18001213721 can be called. However, to avail this service, the customer’s bank account must be linked to Aadhaar or a debit card is required. DSB agents will come to your house and you can withdraw cash. The minimum transaction amount is 1000 rupees and the maximum is 10 thousand rupees. Apart from this, DSB App can be downloaded in mobile. Service can also be booked through this.
