Banks will remain closed for 5 days in these cities, see the list of holidays

New Delhi. The month of November is half over. At the beginning of this month, banks in various states across the country, including Diwali, Bhai Dooj and Chhath, and other festivals and weekly holidays, remained closed for 11 days. Now banks will remain closed for 6 days from 15th November i.e. Monday to 30th November. However, with the end of the festive season, banks will not get as many holidays as before.




In the meantime, if you have any important work related to the bank, then you can tackle it in advance by looking at the list of holidays. Let us tell you that RBI releases the complete list of holidays every month. In this, holidays are fixed according to different states.

November 19 – Banks of Aizawl, Belapur, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla and Srinagar closed due to Guru Nanak Jayanti/Karthik Purnima Will stay

November 21 – Being a Sunday, there will be a holiday in all the banks of the country.

November 22- Banks will remain closed in Bengaluru on account of Kanakadas Jayanti.

November 23 – There will be no business in Shillong banks on the occasion of Seng Kutsnam.

November 28 – Being a Sunday, there will be a holiday in all the banks of the country.

These works will affect

Let us tell you that most of the work of the bank has been done online, yet there is a need to go to the bank for some important work like check clearance or KYC. There is a problem in the work like updating KYC in banks when there is a holiday from work. Apart from this, the process of check clearance also gets delayed.
