Comedian Shyam Rangeela, resident of Sriganganagar, Rajasthan, will contest against Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Varanasi. While talking to ‘Rajasthan Tak’ he said, ‘I have left for Varanasi. After reaching there, I will finalize the process of filling the form and the strategy to contest the elections. Nowadays politics is running like a comedy, so I decided to contest elections. From Varanasi, Congress has given ticket to Ajay Rai, while BSP has fielded Syed Neyaz Ali.
Shyam Rangeela said that I have taken this decision so that Kashi should not be like Surat and Indore. Even if the opposition candidates contesting against Prime Minister Modi withdraw their nominations, I will contest the elections at any cost. Anyone can contest elections against the Prime Minister, this is democracy. He said, ‘I will contest elections from Varanasi with the support of the public.
