Actress Gehna Vashisht, who rose to fame with the web series Gandi Baat, has been in the limelight ever since the arrest of businessman Raj Kundra. Every day she is seen making new revelations in this matter. Meanwhile, she made a big disclosure and told that Raj Kundra was also working on a new app. Along with this, he was also going to make a film for it, for which she had planned to cast Shilpa Shetty’s sister i.e. her sister-in-law Shamita Shetty as the actress. It is worth noting that Gehana Vashisht was also arrested in the same case in which Raj Kundra was arrested as the main accused on 19 July 2021. Although Gehna was granted bail due to her ill health, she is out now.
Recently, in an interview given to a news agency, Gehana told that “I had gone to his office a few days before Raj Kundra was arrested. There I got information that he is working on a new app, which he is going to name Bollyfame. Through this app, he was planning to bring reality shows, music videos, feature films and chat shows to the audience. There was no plan so far to add adult scenes in feature films.”
Gehna further tells in this interview that “During this meeting we also talked about the scripts. After that we also chose a script and thought of casting Shamita Shetty for that. Apart from Shamita Shetty, the idea of casting Sai Tamhankar and two other artists was also being considered. I was possibly being given the job of directing these films. We were in discussion about this new project a few days before Raj Kundra’s arrest. Gehna Vishisht also told in this conversation that she has not met Shamita Shetty yet. Nor do they know anything about Shamita’s fees or demands. All he knew so far was that he had to direct these films.
Let us tell you that since the arrest of Raj Kundra on July 19, Gehna Vashisht has been continuously giving statements in support of Raj Kundra. He also shared a video after Raj was arrested in which she said that he has not done anything illegal. The actress says that all the allegations against Raj Kundra are baseless.
