Big News! Google Pay has amazing feature Split Expense, how to use it, step by step process

Under Google Pay: Split Expense feature, you can split the bill with your friends. The company had announced this feature last month, now it has come in the app.

A new and interesting feature has come in Google Pay. The name of this feature is Split Expense. As the name is, so is the work. Google announced this feature during its Google For India event last month. Now people have started getting this feature in the Google Pay app.

Under the Split Expense feature of Google Pay, you can split the amount with your friends. In such a situation, if you are having a party with your friends and you have made the full payment. In such a situation, Google Pay will automatically share the bill you have paid with friends.

Whatever amount will come in the share of all the people, they will send it to you through Google Pay. From here you can keep track of who has given how much money and from whom you have to take more money.

If you have used Splitwise then it also works in the same manner. In Splitwise app also you can share the entire expenditure equally with each other.

Using this feature of Google Pay is quite easy. Here you have to select the Split Expense feature option, enter the amount and add the people with whom you want to split the bill.

All the members of that group will get the payment request and they can make the payment from there.

Step by step guide

  • Open Google Pay on your smartphone and go to the new payment option.
  • Here a new page will be found where select New Group from the search bar. Add the people with whom you want to split the bill.
  • After the group is created, tap on the Split an Expense button and enter the total amount that you have spent with your friends. Equal amount of request will go to everyone.
