Big News: More than 30 firms were formed, the wife and driver used to give in the fraud, the fake GST bill maker of 200 crores was arrested

The Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) Meerut team has arrested an accused who fabricated a fake invoice of GST. The arrested accused Vikas Jain lives in Ghaziabad Crossing Republic. The CGST team arrested the accused and presented them in Meerut Court. He has been sent to jail from here.




Officers gave this information at the GST office in Mangalpande Nagar on Wednesday. Principal Commissioner CGST SV Singh said that the accused had set up more than 30 such firms which were in the residential area but were not actually firm. There are people living there. The accused is a barber and cement businessman. It has prepared fake invoices, through which GST worth about 42 crores was stolen.

Officers said that Vikas Jain had hired employees to carry cash and bills. The frauds of 30 firms also include the names of his wife and driver. Under this, only bills were cut but goods were never supplied. Vikas Jain has also accepted an attempt to cut fake bills. He said that he used to talk only on mobile for the last 2 years. Did not meet anyone in person. Cash of 2.23 crore was also recovered during the survey.

The CGST team arrested the accused and presented them in Meerut Court. Principal Commissioner CGST SV Singh, Joint Commissioner Rajesh Kumar, Assistant Commissioner Ankit Gehlot said that he was originally from Mawana. Its firms are mentioned in Sivaya, Sardhana, Jagriti Vihar and Ruhasa etc. In the GST language, these are called ‘Taxi Firms’.
