BSNL brings another cheap plan, get 1000 GB data for less than Rs 400

State-owned telecom company BSNL has launched a new promotional broadband plan of Rs 399. This plan is available for new users after which they will have to take a broadband plan of Rs 449. The Rs 449 plan has now been made regular. Another important thing is that at present, the Rs 399 plan is available only for users in select circles of Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Kerala. 1000 GB data is available in this plan with 30 Mbps speed. After 1000 GB, your internet speed will be reduced to 2 Mbps. It has been named BSNL Fiber Experience Plan. After this, you will have to take the company’s fiber basic plan of Rs 449.

Will get calling benefit

This plan gives unlimited calling facility to any network without any extra charge. If customers do not opt for any other plan, they will automatically be shifted to the Rs 449 plan. Users can buy this plan by visiting the nearest customer care center or by calling the toll free number – 1800 345 1500.

Information will be given to customers

You will be informed in advance about the migration (transfer from Rs 399 to Rs 449 plan) when your plan is about to expire. Also, the company has said that while taking the plan, the consent of the customers is necessary for this. BSNL has managed to curtail its losses in the last quarter, which is a good sign as it is trying its best to compete with Reliance Jio and Airtel.

Rs 449 plan

BSNL’s Bharat Fiber Rs 449 broadband plan, also known as Fiber Basic plan, offers internet at 30 Mbps speed up to 3.3 TB or 3300 GB FUP limit. After the FUP limit is reached, the data speed drops to 2 Mbps. Users opting for this plan will also get unlimited voice calling facility on any network in India.

Jio basic plan

Last year, when Jio introduced its Jio Fiber broadband plans, the most basic plan was priced at Rs 399. The Rs 399 broadband plan comes with unlimited internet with download speeds of up to 30 Mbps. It also comes with unlimited voice calling but no subscription to the OTT platform is available in this plan.

Airtel basic plan

Airtel Xstream’s Rs 499 broadband plan offers unlimited internet at speeds up to 40 Mbps. Other additional benefits include subscription to Airtel Xstream, Wynk Music and Shaw Academy. The Airtel Xstream app includes access to Voot Basic, Eros Now, Hungama Play, Shemaroo M and Ultra. Excital also offers a broadband plan with a one-year subscription charge of Rs 399. Excital had introduced several broadband plans last year, one of which offered speeds of 300 Mbps for less than Rs 500.
