BSNL customer Big Update: Good news! BSNL will work on 6G network 50 times faster than 5G, Secretary gave these instructions to C-DOT

New Delhi: Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on Sunday said that he made the first phone call on the 4G network of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). After this, the Secretary, Department of Telecommunications asked C-DOT to start work on 6G technology.

On the other hand, Telecom Secretary K Rajaraman has asked the public sector telecom research and development organization C-DOT (C-DOT) to start work on 6G (6G technology) and other future technologies. This information was given in a statement on Sunday. The Telecom Secretary said that it is necessary to start work on futuristic technologies to catch up to the global market in time.

He said that Samsung, Huawei, LG and some other companies have started working on 6G technology. It is being said to be 50 times faster than 5G. 6G is expected to arrive between 2028 and 2030. According to one calculation, the maximum download speed of 5G is considered to be 20 Gigabit (Gbps).

However, Vodafone Idea claims to have achieved a maximum speed of 3.7Gbps during the trials in India. The Center for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) said in a statement, “Secretary of Telecom has asked C-DOT to keep an eye on emerging technologies. He has asked C-DOT to start work on 6G and other future technologies so that India does not lag behind the global markets.

According to the Department of Telecommunications, 5G technology will be capable of delivering 10 times higher download speeds than 4G. Also it will provide three times more spectrum efficiency. It is to be known that Ashwini Vaishnav has said that BSNL’s 4G technology has been completely made in India.
