The government has implemented this new system for those mobile phone users who always have to face the problem of signal loss. This will be applicable to users of all telecom companies.

New Delhi. If you often have problems with the network, suddenly the signal goes away, then there is good news for you. Because Jio, BSNL and Airtel users can now make calls using any available network. Even if the signal of your own SIM is lost. The government has started the Intra Circle Roaming (ICR) service. This means that users of any network can use 4G services through a single DBN-funded tower.

That is, the towers installed by the government or installed at government expense can be used by users of all networks. This will provide better 4G connectivity to the users and also there will be no need for many towers. That is, there will be fewer installations overall.

Better service without spending more money

By doing this, all telecom users will get the benefit of better mobile services without spending more money. This initiative will also benefit rural and remote villages. 4G connectivity will be promoted there. While launching this service, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that the three major telecom companies – BSNL, Airtel and Reliance – will share their networks at all the locations funded by DBN.

For those who don’t know, the Digital India Fund (DBN) was earlier known as the Universal Service Obligation Fund (USOF). It works to improve mobile connectivity in rural and remote areas by providing funds for the installation of mobile towers. These towers enable people to use the network in places that are difficult to reach and where they are connected to a particular telecom service provider. However, currently, users can only avail the services of the TSP that has installed the tower with the support of DBN. This means that customers of other telecom companies are not able to access these towers right now.
