Government telecom company BSNL offers really affordable plans and big benefits. The same picture is in the private telecom companies of Reliance Jio. But still, many plans of BSNL can easily beat Jio. Today we are telling you about a similar plan of BSNL which gives tough competition to Jio’s year-long plan and is also Rs 1100 cheaper than Jio’s plan:
We are talking about BSNL’s Rs 2,399 plan and Jio’s Rs 3,499 plan. Both these companies offer 3GB daily data with these plans but there is a lot of difference between the two from the price to the benefits. Let us know what are the differences between both the plans:
Jio plan: Jio’s Rs 3,499 plan comes with 3GB daily data for 365 days, which means customers get a total of 1095GB data with this plan. Not only this, users also get 100 SMS per day and unlimited voice calling facility. Jio does not offer any major over-the-top (OTT) benefits to its users with this plan, but does offer free subscriptions to JioCinema, JioTV, JioSecurity, JioNews and JioCloud.
BSNL plan: BSNL offers its Rs 2,399 plan for 425 days. 3GB data is available every day of this plan, this plan lasts 60 days more than Jio’s plan. This also means that users also get more data with this plan, overall 1275GB data is given in this plan. Its users also get free OTT benefit of Eros Now. BSNL is also giving users the option to change the caller tune.
One major difference that you should note is the internet speed that the user gets after the Fair-Use-Policy (FUP) data is exhausted. BSNL allows users to continue consuming internet at 80 kbps after consumption of FUP data. At the same time, Jio only allows users to consume internet at 64 Kbps after the FUP data is exhausted.
