How to get a BSNL fancy number online?
BSNL comes up with e-auction for these fancy numbers from time to time. Each circle has its own e-auction. You can check the e-auction schedule of your circle on the BSNL site. For this, you will also have to register yourself for the e-auction. Through the steps given below, you can get the fancy number of the company by registering yourself.
- Go to the e-auction site and select your circle.
- Click on the Login / Register option given in the top bar.
- Enter your mobile number and email id. BSNL sends the registration details to your given email id.
- Now after clicking on Login / Register, select the Login tab.
After that enter mobile number and password. - Click on Login to complete the process.
- Select the option “Available Numbers” from the side bar given on the site and choose from the available fancy numbers.
- After selecting the number to bid or place a bet, click on Continue and go to Cart.
- Pay the refundable registration amount here and note down the closing date of the auction.
- After registration you are now required to enter the minimum bid (bet) for your chosen fancy number to participate in the e-auction.
- For each fancy number, BSNL selects three participants from among all the bettors. The registration amount of the remaining participants is returned to them within 10 days after the e-auction is over. The company has also mentioned this in its terms and conditions.
- The three contestants who are selected for the chosen number are divided into H1, H2, and H3 based on their auction amount.
- The participant who has placed the bet with the highest amount, if he does not take that number connection then the bid goes to the next participant.
- To get the fancy number, the bettor has to provide his address proof and identity details. It should also be noted here that apart from Indian citizens, firms registered in the country can also participate in this auction.
