Union Home Minister Amit Shah has made a big claim regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He said that BJP will get 370 seats and NDA will get more than 400 seats and the government will be formed for the third consecutive time under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Shah said there is no suspense on the results of the Lok Sabha elections and even the Congress and other opposition parties have realized that they will have to sit on the opposition benches again.

During a TV programme, Amit Shah said, ‘We have abrogated (Article 370 of the Constitution, which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir). Therefore, we believe that the people of the country will bless BJP with 370 seats and NDA with more than 400 seats.

CAA will be implemented before Lok Sabha elections

On the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA), Shah said the law was passed in 2019. After issuing the rules in this regard, it will be implemented before the Lok Sabha elections. Shah said, ‘CAA is the law of the country, its notification will definitely be done. CAA has to be implemented before the elections so no one should have any confusion in this. ,

He said, ‘Our Muslim brothers are being misled and instigated against CAA. CAA is meant to grant citizenship only to those who have come to India after facing persecution in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. This is not to take away anyone’s Indian citizenship.

Implementing UCC Social Change

On Uniform Civil Code (UCC), Shah said it is a constitutional agenda, which has been signed by the country’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and others. He said, “But Congress ignored it due to appeasement. The implementation of UCC in Uttarakhand is a social change. It will be discussed at all forums and legal opinion will be taken. There is no religion-based civil code in a secular country. Might be possible.”

Big talk said about alliance with other parties

Asked about the possibility of Jayant Chaudhary-led Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD), Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and some other regional parties joining the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), the Home Minister said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) “Believe in family planning but not in politics”, hinting that more parties may join the ruling coalition.

When asked about the discussion of alliance with Shiromani Akali Dal, Shah said, ‘Talks are going on but nothing has been decided.’ Shah said that the 2024 elections will not be between the NDA and the opposition faction of INDIA, but between development and those who merely give slogans. When asked about Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo visit, he said that the Nehru-Gandhi family has no right to undertake such a visit as their party was responsible for the partition of the country in 1947.

Target on Congress regarding white paper

On the timing of the white paper tabled by the government in Parliament, Amit Shah said it was necessary as the country has every right to know what mess the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) left behind after losing power in 2014. Was. He said, “At that time (2014) the economy was in a bad shape. Scams were happening everywhere. Foreign investment was not coming. If we had brought out a white paper at that time, it would have sent a wrong message to the world. But after 10 years Our government has revived the economy, foreign investment has come and there is no corruption. So it is the right time to publish the white paper.”

On the Ram temple in Ayodhya, the Home Minister said that the people of the country had believed for 500-550 years that the temple should be built at the place where Lord Ram was born. He said, ‘Then by citing appeasement politics and law and order, Ram Permission was not given to construct the temple.
