Indian Railways IRCTC: Indian Railways has canceled more than 40 trains due to cyclone Biparjoy. Let us see which trains have been cancelled.
Indian Railways: Due to cyclone Biparjoy, there is a possibility of heavy destruction in many areas. In some areas even villages and towns had to be evacuated. Meanwhile, services like electricity, railways are expected to be affected, in view of which Indian Railways has canceled more than 40 trains as a precaution.
If you are also going to travel by train, then check the list of canceled trains, otherwise you may have to face problems. These trains have been canceled by Western Railway, which include express to superfast and passenger trains.
The Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of cyclone making landfall near Jakhau Port in Gujarat. District Kutch in India and is likely to move towards Pakistan next. IMD estimates that the cyclone will knock at a speed of 125-135 kmph between 4-8 pm. Cyclone Bipajoy is expected to cross between Mandvi in Kutch and Karachi in Pakistan near Jakhau port on Thursday evening.
It has been said by Western Railway that full refund of the passengers’ money will be sent. You do not need to file TDR for this. Although you have taken a ticket from the window, you can cancel it and get a refund.
