Several trains will be cancelled from September 22-26 due to non-interlock work on the Gorakhpur-Domingarh third line and Gorakhpur-Nakha Jungle railway doubling on the North Eastern Railway. The Railway Safety Commissioner will inspect the work. This work will allow special trains to operate for Diwali and Chhath Puja. Some trains will run on diverted routes. The East Central Railway has issued a notification.
Cancelled Train List: The commissioning of the third line of the Gorakhpur-Domingarh station of North Eastern Railway and the non-interlock work related to the commissioning of the Gorakhpur-Nakha Jungle railway doubling will be inspected by the Railway Safety Commissioner. Due to this, changes have been made in the operation of trains from 22nd to 26th September.
During this period, many trains will be cancelled on different dates. After the completion of this work, it will be possible to run more special trains during the upcoming festivals as this work will be completed before Diwali and Chhath Puja. East Central Railway has issued a notification regarding this.

- Train No. 12538 Prayagraj Jn.-Muzaffarpur Express will be cancelled on September 22 and 24.
- Train No. 14009 Bapudham Motihari-Anand Vihar Express will be cancelled on September 23 and 25.
- Train No. 14010 Anand Vihar-Bapudham Motihari Express will be cancelled on September 22 and 24.
- Train No. 15002 Dehradun-Muzaffarpur Express will be cancelled on September 27.
- Train No. 15001 Muzaffarpur-Dehradun Express will be cancelled on September 29.
- Train No. 15047 Kolkata-Gorakhpur Purvanchal Express will be cancelled on September 25 and 27.
- Train No. 15048 Gorakhpur-Kolkata Purvanchal Express will be cancelled on September 23 and 26.
- Train No. 15051 Kolkata-Gorakhpur Purvanchal Express will be cancelled on September 26.
- Train No. 15052 Gorakhpur-Kolkata Purvanchal Express will be cancelled on September 25.
- Train No. 15705 Katihar-Delhi Champaran Humsafar Express will be cancelled on September 22 and 25.
- Train No. 15706 Delhi-Katihar Champaran Humsafar Express will be cancelled on September 23 and 26.
- Train No. 26501 Patliputra-Gorakhpur Vande Bharat Express will be cancelled from September 23 to 26.
- Train No. 26502 Gorakhpur-Patliputra Vande Bharat Express will be cancelled from September 23 to 26.
- Train No. 15273 Raxaul-Anand Vihar Satyagraha Express will be cancelled from September 22 to 27.
- Train No. 15274 Anand Vihar-Raxaul Satyagraha Express will be cancelled from September 23 to 28.
- Train No. 15530 Anand Vihar-Saharsa Jansadharan Express will be cancelled on September 25.
- Train No. 15529 Saharsa-Anand Vihar Jansadharan Express will be cancelled on September 24.

- The 12212 Anand Vihar Terminal-Muzaffarpur Garib Rath Express, scheduled to depart from Anand Vihar Terminal on September 24th, will operate via the diverted route of Lucknow (Northern Railway)-Sultanpur-Varanasi Jn.-Aunrihar-Chhapra instead of the scheduled route of Lucknow (Northern Railway)-Barabanki-Gonda-Gorakhpur-Narkatiyaganj.
- The 12557 Muzaffarpur-Anand Vihar Terminal Saptkranti Express, scheduled to depart from Muzaffarpur on September 26th, will operate via the diverted route of Chhapra-Aunrihar-Varanasi Jn.-Ayodhya Cantt-Barabanki instead of the scheduled route of Narkatiaganj-Gorakhpur-Gonda-Barabanki.
- The 14012 Anand Vihar Terminal-Radhikapur Express, scheduled to depart from Anand Vihar Terminal on September 21st, will be diverted via the diverted route of Roza-Lucknow (Northern Railway)-Sultanpur-Varanasi Junction-Chhapra-Muzaffarpur instead of the scheduled route of Roza-Sitapur-Gonda-Gorakhpur-Narkatiyaganj-Muzaffarpur.
- The 15212 Amritsar-Darbhanga Jananayak Express, scheduled to depart from Amritsar from September 22nd to 26th, will be diverted via the diverted route of Roza-Lucknow (Northern Railway)-Sultanpur-Varanasi Junction-Chhapra-Muzaffarpur instead of the scheduled route of Roza-Sitapur-Burhwal-Gonda-Gorakhpur-Narkatiyaganj-Muzaffarpur.
- The 15532 Amritsar-Saharsa Express, scheduled to depart from Amritsar on September 22nd, will run via the diverted route of Roza-Lucknow (Northern Railway)-Sultanpur-Varanasi Jn.-Chhapra-Muzaffarpur instead of the scheduled route of Roza-Sitapur-Burhwal-Gonda-Gorakhpur-Bhatni-Chhapra.
- The 15653 Guwahati-Jammu Tawi Amarnath Express, scheduled to depart from Guwahati on September 24th, will run via the diverted route of Muzaffarpur-Chhapra-Aundihar-Varanasi Jn.-Sultanpur-Lucknow (Northern Railway) instead of the scheduled route of Muzaffarpur-Narkatiyaganj-Gorakhpur-Gonda-Barabanki.
- The 19037 Bandra Terminus-Barauni Avadh Express, running from Bandra Terminus from 21st to 25th September, will be diverted from the scheduled route of Barabanki-Gonda-Gorakhpur-Narkatiyaganj-Muzaffarpur via the diverted route of Manak Nagar-Lucknow (Northern Railway)-Sultanpur-Varanasi Jn.-Aunrihar-Chhapra.
- The 19038 Barauni-Bandra Terminus Avadh Express, running from Barauni from 23rd to 26th September, will be diverted from the scheduled route of Muzaffarpur-Narkatiyaganj-Gorakhpur-Gonda-Barabanki via the diverted route of Chhapra-Aunrihar-Varanasi Jn.-Sultanpur-Lucknow (Northern Railway)-Manak Nagar.
- 19269 Porbandar-Muzaffarpur Express leaving Porbandar on 25th September will be diverted via Lucknow (Northern Railway)-Sultanpur-Varanasi Jn.-Aundhihar-Chhapra route instead of the scheduled route Barabanki-Gonda-Gorakhpur-Narkatiyaganj.
