Board Exams 2.0: The CBSE has released the timetable for the second Class 10 board examination. These exams will continue until May 21. Students who filled out the forms for this examination will be eligible to participate.
Taking a significant step under the new education policy, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the date sheet for the Class 10 ‘Second Board Examination – 2026’. According to the official information shared by the Board, the second board examinations will commence on May 15, 2026, and conclude on May 21, 2026. This presents a golden opportunity for students who wish to improve their scores or were unable to appear for the first examination.
Schedule for Major Subjects:
The examination timing has primarily been scheduled from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The dates for the major subjects are as follows:
May 15 (Friday): Mathematics Standard (041) and Mathematics Basic (241).
May 16 (Saturday): English Communicative (101) and English Language and Literature (184).
May 18 (Monday): Science (086).
May 19 (Tuesday): Hindi Course-A (002), Urdu, Punjabi, and other regional languages.
May 20 (Wednesday): Sanskrit (122), Information Technology (402), and AI (417).
May 21 (Thursday): Social Science (087) — The final day of the examinations.


While releasing this datesheet, Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj clarified that the duration of the examinations for certain subjects, such as Painting and Music, will be two hours (from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM). Students can download the detailed PDF by visiting the official website, cbse.gov.in. Education experts believe that conducting examinations twice a year will reduce the mental pressure on students and provide them with a better opportunity to improve their scores.
