CBSE board exams 2024: Registration process is starting from today, exam will be held in February; Know the fee structure

CBSE Board Exam 2024: CBSE will start the process of filling the exam form for private students of class 10th and 12th from today. All candidates should know about the last date and fee structure below before applying.

CBSE Board Exam 2024: The Central Board of Senior Secondary Education is going to start the registration process for CBSE Board Exam 2024 for private students of class 10 and 12 from today. Once the process starts, candidates can apply by visiting the official website – cbse.gov.in.

Fill the examination form without late fee till 11th October

The last date to fill the exam form is 11th October without late fee. However, applications can also be submitted from October 12 to 19, but for this candidates will have to pay an additional Rs 2,000 as late fee. As per the latest CBSE schedule the registration window will close on October 19.

Exam is to be held in February

The information of students who have appeared in CBSE Board Exam 2023 will be automatically generated while filling the application, while students of 2022 and earlier will have to fill their details like roll number and year of passing etc. in the online application portal. Along with the main board exam 2024, CBSE will also conduct board exams for private students from February to April 2024. All students should fill and submit their examination form on time.

Fee structure

If any student applies after October 11, he will have to deposit Rs 2000 as additional fee. Students from India and Nepal will have to deposit Rs 5,000 for 5 subjects and students from other countries will have to deposit Rs 10,000 as exam fee. For extra subjects, Indian students will have to pay Rs 300 per subject, Nepalese students will have to pay Rs 1,000 and students from other countries will have to pay Rs 2,000 per subject.

For compartment, additional and improvement, students of Indian, Nepalese and other countries will have to pay examination fees of Rs 300, Rs 1,000 and Rs 2,000 per subject respectively. Apart from this, as practical fee, Indian, Nepalese and students of other countries will have to pay a fee of Rs 150, 150 and 350 respectively.
