CBSE Exam Date Sheet 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the final datesheet for the CBSE 10th and 12th exams on the official website, cbse.gov.in. Students appearing for the CBSE Board Exams 2026 can view and download the exam date sheet in PDF format without login credentials.
The 10th board exams will be held between February 17 and March 10, 2026, while the CBSE 12th exams will be held between February 17, 2026, and April 9, 2026. The exams will be conducted in pen and paper format. The datesheet has been released approximately 110 days before the exam start date. This is the final datesheet for both class 10th and 12th students.
In line with the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the CBSE has announced that two board exams will be held in an academic year for Class 10 students from 2026. In its official release, the CBSE informed that the tentative datesheet was released on September 24, 2025, 146 days before the exams, based on the registration data of Class 9 and 11 students. The board further said, “This is the first time that the CBSE has released the final datesheet almost 110 days before the exams, as the list of candidates was submitted by the schools on time.”
The exams will be conducted from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM depending on the subject. Candidates appearing for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 exams must thoroughly review the final datesheet before starting their exam preparations.
The exams will be conducted in a single shift from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM or from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Exam details will also be provided on the CBSE 12th Admit Card 2026. Candidates can download the CBSE 12th Admit Card link at cbse.gov.in.
Candidates can download a PDF of the datesheet from the official website. As per the schedule, the CBSE Secondary Examination 2026 will be held from February 17 to March 10, 2025. The exams will be conducted in the morning shifts from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and in the evening shifts from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, with papers lasting three hours.
