CBSE new notice: This is important news for the students who are going to appear in CBSE board exams. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued important guidelines regarding the 10th and 12th board exams. The board has made it clear that only those students will be able to appear in the exam who fulfill some necessary conditions.

CBSE said that studying in class 10th and 12th is a two-year program. That means students are required to study the related subjects continuously in class 9th and 10th or 11th and 12th. Apart from this, minimum 75% attendance has been made mandatory to appear in the board exams.

The board said that internal assessment in all subjects is now an integral part of the examination. If a student does not go to school, his internal assessment will not be possible and his result will not be declared.

Rules set on additional subjects

CBSE has also set rules on additional subjects. In class 10th, students can take a maximum of two additional subjects, while in class 12 only one additional subject is allowed.
