Challan New Rules: Now challan will be sent home for violating traffic rules, know rules

New rule for challan: An agreement was signed between the Postal Department and Bihar Traffic Police only last month. Now information has come to light that from this month onwards challans will be sent to the homes of those violating traffic rules through post.

New rule for challan: Whenever the postman comes to the house, people are happy. But now instead of being happy, we are going to be in tension. As soon as they see the postman at the door of their house, a question will arise in their mind whether some mistake has been made. Yes, now along with the letter the postman will also bring a challan for violating traffic rules. An agreement was signed between the Postal Department and Bihar Traffic Police only last month. Now information has come to light that from this month onwards challans will be sent to the homes of those violating traffic rules through post.

In other cities including the capital Patna, challan is issued through cameras. Manual challan has been completely stopped. In such a situation, till now e-challan was sent to people’s mobile after breaking traffic rules. But due to the registered number of many people being closed or changed, the information about filling the e-challan could not be received even after breaking the rules. Since the number entered while purchasing the car was with someone else, the message of the challan would reach somewhere else. Because of this, those breaking the rules were not able to get information about the challan. Identifying such people and sending challans through post is going to start soon. Let us tell you that the challan sent through post and the challan sent through message will be the same.

Among the daily challans, the maximum fine is imposed on helmets. On March 05, challan worth Rs 23 lakh 76 thousand 400 was issued on total 1871 vehicles through HHD machine and CCTV cameras installed in Smart City. Apart from this, fine action was taken against 95 vehicles for over speeding, 35 vehicles for not wearing seat belts and 29 vehicles for triple riding. Apart from this, on March 06, 78 vehicles were fined using interceptor vehicles.
