Chief Minister and Union Minister hold virtual meeting of Mayor and MLAs of Gurugram

Chief Minister Manohar Lal and Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh on Tuesday held a virtual meeting with Mayor Madhu Azad Gurugram MLA Sudhir Sigla Badshahpur MLA Rakesh Daulatabad MLA Sanjay Singh and Pataudi MLA Satyaprakash Jaravata.


Jagran Correspondent, Gurugram: Chief Minister Manohar Lal and Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh on Tuesday held a virtual meeting with Mayor Madhu Azad, Gurugram MLA Sudhir Sigla, Badshahpur MLA Rakesh Daulatabad, Sohna MLA Sanjay Singh and Pataudi MLA Satyaprakash Jarawata in the district. Shared information about the status of Kovid-19 and the rescue measures being taken for it.

In the meeting, Chief Minister Manohar Lal interacted with all the public representatives and inquired about the rescue measures being taken by the administration in their areas. The Chief Minister said that eight thousand teams are being formed to conduct health check-ups of citizens throughout the state. Each team will have five members, who will go from village to village, ward to ward and check the health of the citizens. The teams will conduct health checkup of other symptomatic patients including fever and cough. Chief Minister Manohar Lal and Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh said that the Health Department will be instructed to resolve the issues being raised by the Mayor and the corporators on priority basis and the department will work more closely with the public representatives.


Mayor Madhu Azad said that the demand for liquid medical oxygen is high in Gurugram, hence there is a need to increase the supply of oxygen here. Along with this, the Mayor also requested to increase the supply of Remedisavir. The Mayor presented several matters before the Chief Minister and the Union Minister, including increasing the vaccination and testing center as per the demand and requirement of the ward councilors, establishing better coordination between the health department and the corporation councilors.
