Mamta Banerjee addressed a public meeting here on Tuesday. He also encouraged the TMC’s Booth Star activists and district level leaders of Poovi Midnapore to meet them. Everyone remembers the way the shooting took place on 14 March. Mamta Banerjee was referring to the 2007 Nandigram incident. Police were shot at by those who were protesting against opening of the chemical hub here. It killed 14 people.

Mamta said that she was going alone to Nandigram on the day of the incident. An attempt was made to stop them. The governor advised him. But even after all the atrocities, she did not stop. Many people should have been with him at that time, but he did not come along. Mamta said that if she is wrong, the public will say, then she will not fill the nomination.

West Bengal is home to the Trinamool Congress government with 294 assembly seats. At the same time, here the BJP is trying to interfere in TMC’s power. So TMC is making every effort to stay in power.
West Bengal: As of 2016, there
are 294 seats in West Bengal. In 2016, elections were held in 6 phases. Mamta’s party contested 293 seats. Of these, 211 managed to win seats. While the BJP was contesting 291 seats, it won only 3 seats. At the same time, Gorkha Janmukti Morcha contested on three seats and won all three.
The Congress contested with the left parties. He had fielded candidates for 92 seats and managed to win 44 seats. At the same time, CPM was able to win 26 out of 148 seats. At the same time, the CPI won one of the 11 seats.

Current Situation of
