Corona India Latest Updates: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while expressing concern over the growing cases of Corona, exhorted the state governments to take more precautions. He said that if there was negligence then the Kovid-19 epidemic would again engulf the entire country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has told the Chief Minister of the states that if the second wave of Corona is not controlled immediately, then the Kovid-19 epidemic will again spread throughout the country. He urged the states to take strict action in this direction and advised them not to take such steps which would create an atmosphere of fear among the common people. He said that along with vigilance and rigor at the level of governance and administration, the scope of investigation will also have to be increased. The Prime Minister said these things in his address after a meeting with the Chief Ministers of the States on the growing issues on Corona for the last few days.

PM’s advice – get control over corona without creating an atmosphere of fear

The PM said, “From what we have reached today in the battle of Corona, it should not be turned into self-confidence, carelessness. We do not have to bring the people in panic mode and also get rid of trouble. The kingdom of fear has not passed Corona should be banned. ” He said that we have to stop this emerging “second peak” of Corona immediately. For this, we have to take quick and decisive steps.

Most of the corona-affected countries of the world are those that have suffered multiple waves of corona. In some states in our country, cases have started to increase suddenly after decreasing. The positivity rate is very high in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh. In 70 districts of the country, this increase is more than 150% in the last few weeks. If we do not stop this growing epidemic here, a nationwide outbreak situation can occur. We have to take quick and decisive steps.

Emphasis on expanding the scope of testing The

PM emphasized on the process of finding patients and examining them for confirmation of infection and then treating them. He said, “We also need to be as serious about testing, track and treatment as we have been doing for the last one year. Tracking every infected person who comes in contact in the shortest time and RT- It is very important to keep the PCR test rate above 70 percent. ” The PM asked the states to increase the testing in small towns. “We have to pay special attention to the referral system and ambulance network in small towns,” he said.

Modi asked- Why testing and vaccination is less in some areas only?

Modi said that the vaccination campaign in the country is also going on in full swing and a record of 30 lakh people being vaccinated in a day has also been made. He questioned the sluggish pace of vaccination in some areas of the country. The PM said, “The pace of vaccination in the country is continuously increasing. We have also crossed the figure of vaccination of 3 million people in a day. But with this we have to take the problem of vaccine wastage very seriously. . ”

It is a matter of brainstorming why testing and vaccination is decreasing in some areas. We should also work on the option of creating micro containment zones where necessary.

Only antigen test will not work: PM

Prime Minister objected to relying more on antigen testing. The Prime Minister counted the names of some states and said that there is a need to increase RT-PCR test in these states. He said, “In many states, more emphasis is being laid on rapid antigen testing and driving on the same confidence as in Kerala, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, U.P. . “
