Corona Virus: Corona’s havoc not stopped despite ban in Nagpur, lockdown extended till 31 March

Lockdown in Nagpur was first imposed in Maharashtra (Maharashtra) from 15 to 21 March. According to Health Department data, 3,235 new cases of corona have been reported in Nagpur on Friday.

Corona Cases are constantly increasing in Maharashtra. After which the period of lockdown in Nagpur has been extended till 31 March. Due to the rise in corona cases in Nagpur, it has been decided to increase the lockdown. Earlier on March 15, a lockdown was imposed in Nagpur. Then it was announced for a week.




During the lockdown, people have been asked to refrain from leaving their homes unless necessary, so that the infection can be severely broken. The lockdown, which took place on 15 March in Nagpur, was in effect till 21 March. After this, on Saturday, that is, today, it has been increased till 31 March. Only emergency services are exempted from lockdown. To overcome the coronavirus, the Maharashtra government had already imposed several restrictions, under which political, religious and social programs are completely banned.

Lockdown is not a solution: Devendra Fadnavis

Apart from this, night curfew has been imposed in many districts of the state and weekend lockdown has been imposed in many places. According to Health Department data, 3,235 new cases have been reported in Nagpur on Friday. On the other hand, Nagpur Minister Nitin Raut called a meeting on Saturday. In the meeting, BJP leader and former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that the lockdown is not a measure but we will cooperate in implementing the decision that the administration will take.

The threat of Korana is increasing in Maharashtra

On Friday, 25 thousand 681 new cases were reported in Maharashtra. Please tell that on Thursday, the figure had reached 25 thousand 833. A day before that, on Wednesday, 23 thousand 179 new cases were revealed. That is, in these three days, more than 74 thousand new cases have been revealed. Similarly, at present, the total number of active infected people in the state has been 1 lakh 77 thousand 560. On Friday, only 3 thousand 62 new cases have come to light in Mumbai in Mumbai. This is the largest record of infected people found in a single day so far in Mumbai.
