DA Hike: Good News! 4% increase in DA of employees, order issued, salary including arrears will be paid in September

DA of over three lakh employees was increased by 4%. Orders were issued for this. In the month of September, the employees will be provided the benefit of increased DA along with the salary of August including the arrears of July. Along with this, an increase of four percent can be seen in the pension of the pensioners. The Finance Department is expected to issue an order in this matter soon.

Employees DA Hike: There is good news for the employees. His dearness allowance has been increased by 4%. Orders have also been issued for this. Under the order issued by the Ministry of Finance, the benefit of increased dearness allowance will be made available to the employees from the month of July. At the same time, with the issue of the order in August, the employees have to be paid their increased dearness allowance from the month of September. The employees will also be paid arrears for the months of July and August.

Increase in dearness allowance of employees

The dearness allowance of lakhs of employees has been increased by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. In fact, his dearness allowance was increased by 5% in July. With which the dearness allowance had increased to 38%. Once again his dearness allowance has been increased by the Chief Minister at the rate of 4%. With which their dearness allowance has increased to 42% at par with central employees. An order for this was issued on 2 August. With the issue of the order, the increase in 4% dearness allowance has been implemented from the month of July.

Payment of arrears of August and July in the month of September

With the issue of the order by the Ministry of Finance in August, the arrears of August and July will be paid to the employees in the month of September along with the salary of August. For the employees getting the sixth pay scale, their dearness allowance has been increased by 9% from July 1. With which their dearness allowance has increased from 212% to 221%. Salaries and arrears for July and August will be paid to the employees in the month of September along with the salary for August.

4% increase in dearness relief for pensioners

Along with this, the rate of dearness relief for more than 2 lakh pensioners of the state has also been revised. It has been decided to provide dearness relief at the rate of 38% from July 1, 2023, to pensioners receiving dearness relief under the seventh pay scale. Dearness relief for the pensioners of the sixth pay scale was also increased by 11 percent. With which it has increased to 212%.

Consent sought from MP government for 4% DR hike

Despite the government’s announcement, the employees of Chhattisgarh are continuously demanding 42% dearness relief from the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel at par with the Centre. After which now the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh had written a letter to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. In this letter dated August 2, the CM of Chhattisgarh had demanded the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh to allow 42% dearness relief.

In the letter written by Bhupesh Baghel, it has been said that it has been decided to give 42% DR to the pensioners of Chhattisgarh. CM Shivraj has been requested to direct the officers in this matter. It was clarified in the letter that under Section 49(6) of the Madhya Pradesh Reorganization Act 2000, Madhya Pradesh’s consent is necessary for the payment of dearness relief. With the consent, the DR of the pensioners of Chhattisgarh will be increased by 4%.

4% dearness relief will increase soon

However, only after writing the letter, in the Shivraj cabinet meeting, it was decided to increase the dearness relief for the pensioners of the state by 4%. The proposal has been approved for this. It is believed that soon consent will be given in this matter by writing a letter to the Government of Chhattisgarh. Along with this, an increase of four percent will be seen in the dearness relief of lakhs of pensioners of Chhattisgarh from the month of July. With this, their dearness relief may increase to 42%. An order in this regard is expected to be issued soon by the Finance Department. Along with this, an increase in the pension of the employees can be seen from ₹ 800 to ₹ 6000.
