DDA: Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has extended the date for depositing the last installment of 1800 premium flats located in 19B area of Dwarka. Earlier this last date was 28 September, but now it has been extended to 31 October. DDA has taken this decision keeping in mind the demand for extension of time from the buyers and the finishing work going on in the flats. This has given buyers more than a month to pay their outstanding installments.
Especially the owners of flats from Tower A to K had requested to extend the payment deadline. Along with this, the builders also needed additional time to complete the construction work. On Tuesday, DDA issued a circular and informed about this decision. According to reports, many buyers have expressed dissatisfaction over the lack of essential facilities in the flats. These include security arrangements, electricity and water supply, construction of entry gate and facilities like entertainment areas are not yet complete.
On Tuesday, DDA held an e-auction under the Dwarka Housing Scheme, which received a very good response. 173 flats were put up for sale in this auction, out of which 10 flats and penthouses were sold. A DDA representative said that one penthouse, three super high-income group flats and six HIG flats were sold in Tuesday’s auction. All of these were sold well above the reserve price.
On Wednesday too, DDA auctioned 17 flats, which included 12 HIG and 5 MIG flats. The representative said that all the flats were sold at a price higher than the reserve price. So these e-auctions were to be held from 24 to 26 September.
