Deadline for claiming TA extended, Central Government increased from 60 days to 180 days

Keeping in mind the interest of central employees and pensioners, the Central Government has extended the deadline for submission of Traveling Allowance (TA) claim from 60 to 180 days. This facility has started from 15 June 2021. Significantly, in March 2018, the government had reduced the period for filing TA claim on retirement from one year to 60 days. Many departments had written to the department to extend this period. After this the department decided to extend the life. Not only this, the news of increase in dearness allowance to central employees can also be received this month. The meeting of the union of central employees with the cabinet secretary has been fixed on June 26. On this day the increase in dearness allowance and arrears of one and a half years will be discussed.


HDFC Bank will refund the money for the GPS device

The largest private sector bank has agreed to refund the money of GPS devices to its auto loan customers. In fact, the bank was forcing customers with car loans to buy vehicle tracking devices from non-financial businesses last year. The price of which was around Rs 18,000 to Rs 19,500, and the device was being sold by Mumbai-based firm TrackPoint GPS. Now the bank has announced that it will refund the money of customers who had bought GPS devices between FY 2014 to FY 2020. Significantly, the private sector lender was fined Rs 10 crore by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) last month for selling vehicle-tracking equipment to its auto loan customers.

TV prices will increase by three to four percent



Within three months, the prices of television are going to increase once again. From next week, television companies are going to increase the price of LED TVs by 3 to 4 percent. According to TV industry people, this step is being taken due to increase in international market prices of raw materials like panels and increase in logistics cost. Earlier in April, TV manufacturing companies have increased the prices of LED TVs. Super Plastronics Pvt Ltd, the licensee company of Thomson and Kodak TV brands, said that the prices of TVs may increase by Rs 1,000-2,000 in the next few days.
